This is a pretty good AC. Blows hard, cools well. A little noisy but I like white noise. The dehumidifier option is awesome. So is the HEPA filters possiblity

We purchased 2 units for our office and bedroom. We™™ve only been using them for 2 weeks, but so far they™™ve done a great job keeping the small rooms cool. They are quiet, and were very easy to install. My only complaint is that we have heard some random clicking coming from the unit, hoping that doesn™™t get worse or cause failure in the future.

Seems to cool the room appropriately so far. Had no issues getting the wireless control / app working, which has basic functions along with programmable scheduling. Would like to have also seen some energy usage / management / temp tracking features in the app. I use a Mysa baseboard heater thermostat in the same room and can at least track the temp & humidity.

I bought this just before Spring thinking I'd get a better deal. The unit arrived mostly unscathed but did have damage to the fins out of the box. The front panel is also uneven.. the left side sticks out and it will not stay flush, plus it has a tiny black dot on the top of the filter cage that won't come off. Cosmetics aside, the unit is fairly cold and does a decent job cooling my ~280sqft room. That said, I'm very disappointed with the quality and features. My opinion of Frigidaire tanked a lot with this experience. The only saving grace is the Wi-Fi controls. That and brand name were the reasons I bought this over competitors, but I have a feeling other brands would have been just fine or better. When you turn the AC on it never remembers your settings... defaulting to 72F and "eco" cool. I would be livid and have returned it right then but thankfully I have a Broadlink device that allows me to program scenes/routines so I can get to my desired setting with voice commands. The Frigidaire app DOES NOT OFFER THIS, so if you're getting this for that, get an extra device or a different unit. It also only blows straight. It has little adjustment vents on the top but they do basically nothing. The air shoots past and it maybe changes the air flow 7 degrees. Considering my placement I wanted it blowing at a bit less than a 45 degree angle - which it should: the vents are pointed right at me - but it doesn't. Poor design and engineering from a brand I previously respected. To add insult to injury, I thought I was getting a deal but the thing went 20% cheaper the next day. The Google Home integration DOES NOT ALLOW YOU TO CHANGE TEMPERATURES, so you're boned there too. The final kick in the gut was when Frigidaire asked me to leave a review to enter their sweepstakes. If you click Thumbs Up in the email, you get sent here. If you click Thumbs Down, they send you to fill out a survey (no sweepstakes entry for you, nay sayer). All in all my experience here has NOT been pleasant, and if it weren't for the Broadlink device and fact I don't feel like uninstalling it I would have returned it the first week. That said, still get it if you get a deal. My thinking is it should at least last, but I guess that's TBD. Also it isn't that quiet. It isn't SUPER noisy, but it does make racket. Especially in the popping/expansion of the metal when you first turn it on (which is what I do most at the moment because it's still Spring and I just need cooling bursts). 2/5 Rating.

Git this ac as the room would get to 90°f during the day and the central ac wasn't up to cooling it is quieter then most of the window ac units I have used and keeps the room at 74°f very easily

I ordered this AC to modify it to improve the efficiency of it and make it last a long time and not get dirty or disgusting over time. What I liked the most about the unit was that it came with built-in WiFi and App support allowing me to control the unit via internet anywhere I go or anywhere around the home. It was also a very standardized build that I have been familiar with repairing for over 20 years, this made things much easier for modding it. Here are a key list of things that were done to improve the unit. 1: Thermal Insulation & Anti-MicrobialFoam was gently coated with Plasti-Dip then covered with copper foil tape. Copper foil tape placed under external radiator where external sourced water would collect to drain. Aluminum foil tape covering exterior & painted over with clear coat.This helps to improve the thermal insulation of the unit. The copper has anti-microbial properties to help prevent the buildup of mold, mildew, algae, etc. This way the foam doesn't end up covered in mold over time and ruined. This also helps prevent algae from building up and blocking the exterior water sourced drain port. 2: Drain PortsA dedicated drain port was installed going directly from the inside of the foam, through the foam and to the rear of the unit through a drain port. High quality PC water cooling hardware was used for this. An in-line screen filter was added to prevent any bugs from entering from outside. A 2nd drain port with screen filter was added for any water that may gather from external sources. The screen is sealed into the interior paint finish with clear coat to provide minimal raising so that water can drain easily & not build up around it.3: Noise Suppression & Air SealingBearings were replaced with high quality ABEC-11 skate bearings. An extra bearing was added to the shaft with foam to seal the air between the interior and exterior of the foam. Extra rubber washers & foam were added to the compressor to help with noise suppression. 4: External Screen FiltersScreens were added to the external intake vents to prevent pollen, leaves, bugs, and other things from entering the unit. This helps prevent things from building up on the back of the external radiator and reducing the airflow and efficiency of the unit. The screens just need to be wiped off from time to time to keep them clean. This is something that should come built-in to window AC units by now, but I could not find any brand that does this yet. If people are installing them up high where they cannot reach them to clean them then they could just remove them if they want, but at least they would be there for the people that can make use of them. The AC unit works great now. The condensation water drains nicely out through the rear port and after a couple months of use there has been no problems at all with algae building up and blocking the port. No bugs have managed to end up inside the unit or get inside my home through the unit. The exterior filters worked great and prevent a lot of pollen from entering the unit. The copper will help keep it easier to clean and mold & mildew free for many years to come so that it won't end up ruined after only a few summers of use and need to be thrown away like previous AC units have. This will help me get a good 10+ years of use out of this unit or until the compressor dies. The fan spins even faster & generates no noise from the bearings, only the noise of the airflow. Overall I am very satisfied with the unit after modding it. I gave it 4/5 stars because I had to do a lot of the work to properly improve the unit and that it did not already come with these improvements.

The unit is very stylish and easy to install, however, we have a pretty small bedroom and felt like it had to be on high and the coolest setting to keep us cool. Our room is also on the side of the house that DOESN'T get direct sun.

Pros: Nice design with front control panel and two directional air supply. It cools down my 200 sq ft living room. Easy installation.Cons: Loud rattling noise. Unstable connection with Alexa. Came with a small oil residue but I was able to clean with Q-tip.

After a strong rain storm, water accumulated to a depth that the fan blade was hitting the water. The unit had to be removed and tilted significantly to remove the excess water. There was no apparent damage to the unit from the fan hitting the water as it is working fine. Perhaps a drain hole in the deep area of the outer shell should be considered. Over all very happy with the unit.

Easy to install and easy to connect to wifi. App control makes it convenient to cool spaces en route home or adjust while out of the home for pets. Not totally silent, a little bit of rattle, but I™™m used to an air filter for white noise. The lower the fan setting, the quieter.

I love how the unit connects to WiFi so that I can show off to my friends and family that I can turn it on from anywhere with my phone. It™™s really convenient being able to cool down the room while on the way back home. The sound of condensation swishing around inside can be a bit obnoxious sometimes, but it™™s overall a good unit.

I am so excited to install the new Window Room Air Conditioner once the nursery is completed! This is a quality air conditioner for a good price. It is powerful enough to cool my 250 square foot bedroom. The air conditioner was easy to install and an added benefit is having a remote that is connected to Wi-Fi.
